I have cured my baby goat from meningitis, after he was suggested by the well known vet hospital to be put down, as they were not able to do anything, the antibiotics were not reaching to the spine where they say the infection was. I knew I am loosing him, so might as well try CDS. I had no idea on the dose, the kid was less then a month old.
First I started him on 1 ml an hour, then next day 2 ml an hour with partial success, then moved to 3 ml an hour, long story short, when dose was big enough to kill whstever he had, it happened quick, in one day, then he started a slow recovery.
When I picked him up from the hospital, as they refuse to treat him since the treatment was not working for him, he was not walking, just laying on his, side, not even energy to raise his head, no energy to get up to pee.
Long story short, with 30 ml a day I got my Spotty back to life, he eventually gained his energy and went back to his mom who was so happy to give him her milk.(I would feed him with her milk from the bottle, the time he was sick, but its a different story)
So... make story short yes, my Spotty is a grown goat 1 year later, and I would treat all of my animals and chickens if I need to with CDS. I also learned that you can put a part A into their water, but I have not done it yet.

So because he was so sick, I did a one syringe with 3 ml of CDS, then follow up with a syringe with 6 ml of water. That was all I was able to do. I would hold his head tight I sprinkle quickly, and hold it longer to make sure he swallowed it. I would say over all recovery tool a month, but CDS I only gave him first 5-7 days, then I felt as if he no longer needed, he was drinking milk and eating greens and mandarins🤣. I went with how he felt and how I felt.

And by the way, seeing my baby goat(less then a month old) taking 30 ml of CDS a day with hardly any water convinced me that I, many times his, size, can take 30 ml a day, so there were times I did do that, and I am not afraid of that dose anymore.
