Less than 72 hours after the burn. you see all the wrinkled skin that bubbled instantly. The quick thinking of immediately spraying with CDS within seconds after the burn stopped the burn from continuing. It neutralized it almost immediately. I had the picture analyzed and it was able to show that there was damage to some of the tissue in a couple spots probably were closer to third degree burns then 2nd. But a severe second degree burn with a spot that has 3rd degree to be almost healed in less than 3 days. Amazing!!!!

You know it's one of those crazy things I put a cup of coffee in a pot to heat it back up I forgot about it and it started to boil I grabbed the pot to pour it In My cup and my dog bumped into me and it landed on top of my hand. As always I didn't realize that it was actually that bad. And had I not sprayed it immediately I'm talking within seconds I think I probably would have ended up having to go to the hospital for it.

Let me explain what I did: Right after it happened, I rinsed off the coffee and started spraying with CDS within seconds — it was burning really bad. I kept spraying every 15 minutes for about an hour and a half, until the stinging started to calm down.
Once it didn’t hurt as much, I cleaned it out and used hydrogen peroxide just once. I’ve read that using it too much can actually damage the tissue, so I avoided repeating it.
After realizing it was probably a deep second-degree burn (maybe even some minor third-degree spots), I stuck with the CDS spray every hour or so through the first day. On Day 2, I kept spraying and wrapped it overnight, just to protect it, but during the day I left it open. I’m still spraying it today — not on a strict schedule anymore, but throughout the day, whenever i get up to grab something from my desk or so
The CDS really stopped the burn from progressing, and I could tell it helped start the healing right away. It’s been about 72 hours and I’ll keep spraying until the dead skin starts to open. If it’s raw underneath, I’ll continue spraying. Honestly, I don’t think you can overdo it in a situation like this.
