Bladder Catheter Infection Improving

I have a friend who was caring for an elderly man who had constant ecoli infections in his bladder. He was on a catheter which presents its own issues. A steady stream of antibiotics was not clearing the ecoli from his bladder and was becoming ineffective in the rest of his system. The doctor suggested flushing the bladder to make sure things were clean. My friend added 1 activated drop to the saline solution, flushed out the bladder with this, and then would leave the bladder empty. This was done about once a day for about a week. The man then had his bladder checked for ecoli. It was GREATLY reduced and he went for 4-5 months with no bladder issues (without any further MMS treatments). He is showing signs of the ecoli gaining ground again so the MMS treatment is being repeated.
